Ensure you bring shoes suitable for short walks, on rough or uneven terrain and suitable clothing for all conditions, including a waterproof jacket (it has been known to rain in Scotland), sunglasses and plenty of layers.
You can bring one cabin sized piece of luggage, 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, which cannot exceed 15kg, along with 1 x small handbag or daypack.

By car: To reach the meeting point, start on Crichton Street and head east. Turn onto Potterrow, then continue onto Teviot Place and Forrest Road. Follow George IV Bridge, then turn onto Lawnmarket. Continue on High Street and turn onto Parliament Square. Your destination will be on the left.

By taxi: Many taxis are available, however, this city has an excellent public transportation system.

By public transportation: You can take public buses, such as bus 9, and hop off at the Victoria Street stop; from there, it’s only a four-minute walk.
