The King's Gallery in Edinburgh, located at the entrance to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, was built within a former church and school from the 1840s.The gallery, created to complement the original architecture, opened in November 2002 by Queen Elizabeth II during the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
It features changing exhibitions from the Royal Collection, including old master paintings, rare furniture, decorative arts, and photographs.
